Y O G A
What is called as Yoga, the physical postures is, it is about manipulating the body in such a way that you get to a certain geometric perfection, that your geometry is aligned with larger geometry of creation, so that you are always in sync. You are never off. And how balanced you are, how clearly you see things, and how well you do things, simply depends on how much you are in sync with everything else around you. Whether it's people, trees, life or just space, are you in sync with it or not. Will decide how smoothly, how friction-free is your function in the world.

Yoga is an emancipation of expectation.
Living with an open heart can seem like the most dangerous thing to do, in a world that can break your heart so easily. We tend to build armor around our hearts and hide them from the world.
We forget the purpose of everything in this world is to expand and not contract. With the heart and the love we can give. The more we give, the more we will receive. It's a lot like a spring, if you clear its way and you let it flow, it will flow abundantly. For love comes from The Source and we are always connected to The Higher Power. We just block the flow sometimes, out of fear that the spring will drain. Not knowing the spring can never, and the more we allow it to flow, purer the water.
I'd be humbled as you join me as your teacher in an onsite private or a group yoga session leading you to still your mind & coming home to yourself.

How Being Mindful Changes Our Lives
Helps you sleep better
The type of slow, controlled breathing used in yoga stimulates your vagus nerve. This nerve affects your parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), which controls your body's rest function.
Decreases anxiety & depression
As a form of low-impacted exercise, yoga lowers stress hormones in our bodies while simultaneously increasing beneficial brain chemicals like endorphins and GABA(gamma-aminobutyric acid). Researchers found that yoga provides immediate relief as well as long-term symptom reduction.
Reduces stress levels
Yoga has long been known to be a great antidote to stress. When you are stressed, tension is stored in the body making you feel tight and often causing pain. The stretching of yoga releases tension from problem areas, including the hips and shoulders. Just learning to take deep breaths and realizing that this can be a quick way to combat stressful situations is amazingly effective.
Improves attention & concentration
Yoga offers several techniques for taming the monkey mind. Each breath is tied inextricably to the present moment; you are not breathing in the past or the future, but only right now. Yoga poses, or asanas, also act as a form of meditation. The poses are so physical and have to be done with such concentration, that all our thoughts and worries are put to the side, giving your brain a much- needed break.
"The thing about meditation is: You become more and more you."
